As a northerner (from Chicago) I’m a FIRM believer that you can’t buy coats for ‘our’ winters unless you purchase them locally. That has been my experience.
I bought this coat hoping it would work for late fall temps(+40°) but I put it to the test when I went overseas. It was colder than I expected but I was WARM. So when it turned sharply colder(15-25°) at home I gambled again…..at least until I could buy another coat(I love coats/jackets).To my pleasant surprise it has really kept me warm.
